Beverly J. Garrett

Beverly became a steward in April 1978 and served the local as, Head steward 1981 to 1983, Secretary 1983-4 Second Vice President 1985 to December 1997 when she was elected President to succeed Arthur B. Johnson. She served as the Local's President until her untimely death on June 1, 2006. Beverly had the unique gift to relate to all people as just that people, she always found the common traits we share laughing enjoying life, family and faith.

It was her vision that launched this web site to bring outreach and Local 1336 to the Internet age.

Reginald T. Huey

Reggie was elected to the Executive board in 1969. He served as a Head steward , Assistant Chief Steward and chief Steward in the 1970's until his election to Executive Vice President of Local 1336 a position he held until he retired in December 1998. Reggie stayed in touch with the local after retirement dispensing his advice as only Reggie could. Reggie died on January 9, 2006.

Don Mclaughlin

Don was the Local's treasurer from 1973-1988. This was back in the days before computers and other labor saving devices to this complex job. Don has been described as the local's consummate bean counter. Don stayed in touch with the Local after his retirement in 1998 and was always good for an interesting story about his numerous outside interests. Don died in early 1998.
